Red Oak Park, a 100% affordable project represents a close collaboration between Coburn and Boulder Housing Partners, a public housing non-profit. Working together, the team has successfully designed a new, pedestrian-oriented site plan, identified funding sources, determined optimum construction methods – using state of the art sustainable building methods – and is implementing the project. This visionary reuse of a mobile home park will be a national model for making affordable housing beautiful and sustainable in a progressive neighborhood infill redevelopment.
